Re: Zombies!?
I think it is a great idea. I know if zombies broke out for real there are a few humans I would take out along the way as well.

Re: Zombies!?
In keeping my promise to placate the Zombie fanatics, I will be hosting a Zombie game this March on the 19th.
In order to properly facilitate this, I need to know how many people would be willing to participate bearing in mind the following will be required:
-$25 (possibly less, but 25 max) field fee, MUST preregister AND prepay (via check in the mail or Paypal)
-Play will be ALL (checkin ~5PM, end ~4AM with free camping on site) night, and you MUST agree to participate the whole time so it is fair for those that go last as humans
-Must be willing to be both a Zombie and a human
IF you (or someone you know that does not have a forum account) not only can, but does plan to participate and follow the requirements please vote in the new poll above. The game structure is directly dependent on this poll, so it is imperative that you vote once for yourself if you will attend, and once for each person you plan to bring that won't vote for themselves but will be in attendance.
Also, would you rather:
A) Be a human player for longer, but with a larger group of humans
or
B) Be a human player for less time (thus a zombie for more) but with a smaller group of humans?
Answer in posts below.
General info:
The game will consist of multiple segments throughout the night (Full moon BTW) at FPTC (CQB). There will be a nonlinear timed scenario for each group of human survivors to complete. It will have specific objectives that will require the survivors to fend off Zombie attacks and search for items that will help them to escape the Zombie-infested area (and thus win the scenario in the allotted time). Players will be humans for their allotted segment with a group of other survivors, and Zombies for the other segments while others take their turns as human survivors. Survivors will have certain mag and gun restrictions, as well as limited amounts of antidote to save them from infection.

Depending on my funds at the time i will try to make it. Also might it be better to make an aosc *official game* thread for this to keep it outta the Zombie talk?

Re: Zombies? = YES! (Zombie pregame details & poll)
First off, what would the zombie to player ratios look like numerically?
I'd say I'd rather have more zombies. A large group of armed humans vs. a smaller group of unarmed melee-utilizing zombies would make for a very one-sided battle. After all, the only way zombie infestations are successful is simply through superior numbers.

Re: Zombies? = YES! (Zombie pregame details & poll)
The Zombie to human ratio will be at least 2 to 1, and the humans will have primarily shotguns and pistols, with some AEGs on semi only and limited ammo and only mids. What I need to know is if people would rather have smaller groups of humans at a time, and thus spend more time as a zombie, or larger groups of humans (still at least outnumbered 2 to 1) and thus be able to spend more time as a human survivor.

Ah, well in that case I'm undecided.Dominum wrote: The Zombie to human ratio will be at least 2 to 1

Re: Zombies? = YES! (Zombie pregame details & poll)
I want to do this. It might be my birthday gift to myself. idk if I'll bring my little bro or not though. and definitely small groups of people. when the zombies come it's gonna be the crowds that becomes zombie bait while the small groups of skilled friends/fighters survive.
