How can I get a silencer/suppressor on my gun?

I have that gun. It does have threads, but the orange flash hider is a PITA to get off. You'll need a heat gun. I tried a hairdryer and nail polish remover before taking a hacksaw to it, then a knife, and finally pliers. Needless to say the threads were ruined. Don't use a hacksaw.

A hairdryer isn't hot enough. Use a heat gun, and then put a cloth around it and twist with pliers. Once the orange tip is off, you can put whatever you want on there.

There's a whole world of options when it comes to what sits on the tip of your barrel, and most people never explore it.

Unless you have a KWA, you gotta be careful because the way the inner barrel extends a little bit further than the outer barrel. If you arent careful you can break the hopup.

This gun doesn't do that. Trust me. If I could've broken the hopup, I would have.

I think he means *If* you have a KWA. My KWA m4's inner-barrel extends past the outer barrel and into the flashhider. And I'm pretty sure KWA is the only company that does this to their stock guns.

Their barrels come stock at 395mm long while the usual M4's are 363mm long. They do that to squeeze out as much performance as possible. As long as you don't screw the the flash hider on in a hurry and actually pay attention to what you're doing, you should be fine.

You can always wiggle the inner barrel around to position it inside the new flash hider before screwing it down like I have done.

Scott, the barrel should actually run a bit through the flash hider, but the opening is too small, and thus pushes the barrel back and the Hopup gets broken that way.. KWA has a whole announce post about it.
