Redfox Game, Feb. 19th!

Information about past games.

Would you rather play Mile High (6 multi story buildings) or Swamp Fox (hills and woods with a stream and road and a trench)?

I would rather play Mile High this time.

Redfox Game, Feb. 19th!

Post by Dominum » Sun Feb 06, 2011 7:48 pm

Redfox Game Day
Directions: http://www.redfoxgames.com/directions.html
Address: 1348 State Road S-42-195
Woodruff, SC 29388

Saturday, February 19th
0830: Registration and chrono open $20 Field Fee ($25 field fee for those who come after registration/chrono closes at 0945, no exceptions)
0945: Briefing
1000: Mile High Games
1300: Lunch break
1400: Valley of Doom Games
1600: Silverado City Games (bring a [glow=red,2,300]glow stick[/glow] for a night portion deadrag, we will play for a while after dark!)

-Thirty second heal, max two consecutive heals, all friendlies are medics
-Bravo has odd channels, Alpha has even (As always, no going on enemy channels)
-Deadrags required (it's been a rule for some time, there's no excuse when people give them away)
-All AOSC rules apply
-Bring a radio or you won't know what is going on
-Bring plenty of cold weather clothes and gear (nevermind that, it'll be sunny and 60!)
-Dress for one faction or the other per the rules, you mix faction camo, you don't play
-Bring a change in case of misbalanced faction numbers
-Channel 1 is for admin, call me on channel 1 if you have any problems or questions at any time
-Stay hydrated!
-I highly recommend bringing a sidearm with no MED so you can clear buildings.
-If you stay for the play after dark in Silverado City, remember that it is semi only at night and glow sticks are REQUIRED as deadrags.
-AOSC games always go on as planned, no cancellations for weather. We have played in hurricanes and with tornadoes in the vicinity, and will do it again.

Waiver:
PDF File
Word File

Expect fast paced objective based scenarios all day long, there will be action aplenty on these three favored fields. Suggestions for short scenarios for each field are welcomed, PM me.

Oh and yes, you heard right. A NIGHT GAME in Silverado City! Bring your flashlights and let's hit the tunnels!

Mile High for 3 Hours is a bit much... Should try to make it Bridge or Paul Bunyan. But Swamp Fox works too. And by Death Valley are you referring to Valley of Doom?

By "Bridge" what do you mean? Sorry, but Paul Bunyan sucks, it's those cubes right? Yeah, Valley of Doom, fixed that :D.

It's just that SF is a lot like VoD.

http://www.redfoxgames.com/fieldInfo.html bridge is number 7. Its basically a steep hillside, a road, then a part across a tiny creek. There is a bridge at the part of the map closest to Junkyard, and attacking team must get one man to cross the bridge to win. Pretty cool. Also, might wanna look at The Bunker. I think it is the second best scenario besides Valley of Doom.

The bridge is just too small for the numbers we have. However, if we play SF then we can probably combine it with the Bunker.

Well, my job is to give the people what they want, so however the vote goes is how it will be :).

I'd love for someone to bring a boom box and play a combat themed playlist for the night game in Silverado City. Ironfox, you guys did that at Domino, want to do it again?

Mile High is a bit small to be playing for 2 or 3 hours.....

EDIT: noob question: I'm new to the forum, what does this mean "-Bring a sidearm with no MED so you can clear buildings."
