New gun! KWA M4 RIS. I have wanted this since I found out it was coming out. The body is awesome and, the gearbox is awesome, but I have not had luck with the selector switch. The switch is wobbly, but functions. Going from full to semi sometimes causes a one-time scratchy trigger pull. If you go into full then a little before semi, it'll be fine.
Sometimes it works great, sometimes it doesn't.
Also, I installed a Guarder soft bucking to try it out. If it doesn't work well, I'll switch back to the KWA 2G bucking. Enjoy some pictures!
G&P 551 Eotech coming in the mail tomorrow!
I took off the carry handle and put a flip up sight on it.

Beautimous! Kind of disappointed with the selector switch, though.

It's not bad, really. I am being pretty picky. I might call KWA and ask if there is a fix for it.

Question:
Is there a way to tighten up an M4/M16 selector switch? I think there are screws on the opposite side that could be tightened.

I say again, great choice. KWA's newer models are amazing.  ;D

Scott, that is amazing looking! :)

If it's like my M4, you should be able to tighten the selector switch on the back of it. Take the gearbox out of the lower receiver, and there should be a small screw on the back of the selector switch.

Awww.... I don't want to take apart my baby yet  :'(
I may run by BattleCats and have them look at it. Those guys have done a great job so far. I also want someone to remove the front sling mount. I hate the clanking noises.

Haha, it may be hard to tighten it without taking her apart. As for the sling mount, there should be two little pins on it that you can tap out with a jeweler's screwdriver, then it will come right off.

Yeah, it looks like those pins would break not allowing me to put it on again... ever.

I don't think they will, they popped right out of the mount that came with my Dboys. Could you take a picture of the mount and pins? They should come right out in tact, unless KWA used a non-standard sling mount.

WOW! I can't wait to shoot it, and make it better!

@Esteban: Sam gave you the right answers, not sure what BC prices are, but I would do both for $10.

About all it needs is some TLC on the O-rings; I'm quite happy with the rest! (That, and real wood furniture and blued metal)
