Ive seen it myself, and was pleasantly surprised. Not really ground breaking, but entertaining non th less.
Airsoft is like procreating, you dont have to be good at it to enjoy it.

Took my 9 year old son to see it tonight. To take a few previous quotes;
I class movies in this way:
1: Have to see on the big screen.
2: Definite must see, but will rent.
3: If I'm bored and there isn't anything else to choose from... I may rent.
I don't regret spending the cash to see on the big screen.
Everyone has their own opinion of what a good plot is. If you're looking for something thats deep and meaningful or runs parallel to real world events to make some statement, this isn't the movie. (And I'm not suggesting that you are Vill.) As for the acting.... I don't recall ever thinking "that was cheese". Of course, this isn't Saving Private Ryan either. Take it for what it is, and you'll enjoy it.Villid wrote: well the plot is probablly gonna suck, as will most of the acting, but if theres enough explosions and combat, it might make up for it
Funny you mentioned Halo. My son and I were saying some of the alien ground units had a slight Halo feel to them even though they were much more complex. Or maybe it was how they fired? Wicked none the less.Vesper wrote: Modern Warfare 2 + Halo + Awesomeness
Agreed. I think being glued to that unit through their trials and tribulations kept you drawn in. Not to mention the combat and eye candy along the way.Jon The Pilot wrote: Ive seen it myself, and was pleasantly surprised. Not really ground breaking, but entertaining non th less.

I saw it today and I thought it was awesome. I'm gonna try to get BOS to all go dressed in full gear- minus guns and mags of course.

Yea, leave the guns at home. I will never forget getting pulled over on 85 and the HP officer looking in the camper cover and seeing the SAW. Things got a little tense for a moment. He was really cool though, he played with it for about ten minutes before letting me go with a warning. Now I throw a bdu jacket or big gun bag over it.
