Question: what's the start and end of the "night" portion?
Theres going to be a 3 hour Meet-n-greet with GA right at dinner time, probably after that.
That's what I would guess also, more interested on when the "night" ends....

At 24-2 the night ended when it was light out. Not right at dawn but once it got pretty light out. It was an unspecific system.

Last time it was at 7AM, but Garrett has the final word on the start and stop of the night time semi limit. Yes, the MEDs and limits at night are exactly the same EXCEPT that only semi is allowed, this has always been the case at every night game. Also, there are no combat vehicles at night. Yes Smitty, most forms of stand alone launchers will be permitted as AT, but no throwing Nerfs LOL.

The latest one should arrive at the game? Considering that you will have to cart all your stuff to HQ in the field and set up a tent, etc. and get all your gear ready, than go register and chrono with 300 other players, you better be really early! If you can, come Friday, if not, get there as early as you can Saturday, at least 0800. Any later and we you will be way behind.

To answer the earlier questions about vehicle rules, and help to make it feasable to use the "shoot the people with BBs, and the vehicles with Nerfs" rules, I propose that instead of the HMMWV we use this:

If we do, we could revise the rules so that any and all vehicles could be shot by rockets, and any exposed persons shot with BBs. The exposed persons would have to be willing to take the risk of being accidentaly hit by a rocket.

Semi auto will start after the meet and greet Saturday night, and we will resume full auto at 7:am sharp. Admin will be assisting in reminding CO's at the proper times.

Just remember you still have to honor your MED's at night and it isn't exactly easy to see 100 feet away. I will be using a CQB gun as well in case I roll right up on someone. Plus, my CQB gun has solid range anyway. ;)

So...can I assume that the guy said "no" to protecting the HMMWV so we could still shoot it?

He said it would be much more difficult than doing so to this, and he would rather not spend that many hours converting it for this game. Unless a few hundred bucks pops up, I think this is our best bet. It still has a turret!

OK, so my parents are being absolutely ridiculous about this, and want to know some random stuff.
Who owns it, is it a business like Red Fox?
What kind of facilities are there?
What happens if someone gets hurt?

They asked me all this junk when I asked if I could go... Ugh.

Who owns it, is it a business like Red Fox?
A friend of Garrett owns it. It is not a formal business, it is simply private property.

What kind of facilities are there?
There is the field owner's house, but the only facilities for the players are portajohns and what you bring with you (tent, camper, etc).

What happens if someone gets hurt?
The adult who is taking responsibility for you would take you to the hospital and the game would continue. This is why you either need your parent with you or need somebody over 18 to sign for you.
