I have an idea for my senior graduation trip nowSteevoLS wrote:You could almost look at it as what you'll be doing after you've been playing for several years, are over 18, and have expendable income. My upcoming Oklahoma Invasion trip will cost at least $150 in gas, $100 field fee, and another $100-200 in various bits of gear/guns/supplies... not so bad if you consider this is my "vacation" for the year.

My ego is already larger than yours, a considerable achievement in and of itself. It needs no stroking.slickridley wrote:Gambler wrote:SteevoLS wrote:Gambler is wise in the way stroking Stephen's ego, his council should always be taken into consideration.

I've seen so much trolling and counter trolling in this thread that I can't tell if you're serious.

That's pretty much it, but also no highcaps unless in support guns. Milsim players are also 99% more likely to bang hot chicks than paintsofters.theboss62 wrote: Anyways so milsim is all about being tacticool and dressing up. I am in.

L86 is a support weapon, and doesn't use high capacity mags that I know of. It's not up to me though, you will have to make a sacrifice to the AOSC gods.
Re: Realmil vs Milsim vs Paintsoft
There are a lot of variations of the L86, most assault rifle and a few support weapons. I'm not sure how you would determine the variation in airsoft though.

No. The L86 LSW is a support gun that belongs to the SA80 group of weapons used by the British. It uses a STANAG magazine, the drum mag thing is a creation of MW2 and airsoft. The British use the FN Minimi for an LMG like dozens of other countries.blackout wrote:There are a lot of variations of the L86, most assault rifle and a few support weapons.

Re: Realmil vs Milsim vs Paintsoft
This definitely sounds like a good idea. I, too, am tired of having to call myself as hit when a round hits me in the foot or hand. And, although airsoft is based on an honor system, I know too many people who would say they were only hit once when they were hit three times. Saying PCs make it so you can take more rounds might not be a good idea. Just saying.
If you did put together a Milsim, I and my team would be there.

An idea for the medic system could be using different sized band aids for different wounds. The more severe a wound the bigger a band aid and you could only receive a certian number of wounds before you die. The number of wounds would change depending on the severity of each.
