So what kind of internals should someone use to upgrade their spring pistol to sniper grade?

He'll be ok, the first page pretty much sums up that you can't have a $150 DMR. There rest was all good discussion and a few LULZ, he's got his dollar's worth

I would say though, that when I'm referring to sneaky, I mean going undetected, not necessarily ambushing people. If you had passed up opportunities for kills with the P90, and kept pushing through enemy lines, you basically would have been a sniper.

I did often, and my primary point is that though similar in many respects, that did NOT make me a sniper. That made me a sneaky guy who raped a lot of people with an assault rifle without them ever being the wiser. In order for me to have been a sniper, I would have had to add a very long range and accurate gun as well as doing the intelligence gathering and focus on HVTs that Sev mentioned. I agree 100% wit Sevs post, well said. Sky, don't get me wrong; I am not saying that a great SWS makes you a sniper; I am saying that in order to be one you need a SWS. That being said, there is nothing at all wrong with being one heck of a crafty guy who rapes people without them ever knowing who it was... you just can't call that a sniper in and of itself.

agreed. But you can gather intelligence without carrying a sniper rifle too.

Absolutely you can, and you should. You don't need anything to do that, in fact at OP 24 Eric (Unknown Theory/Wolfassasin) was in one of the bunkers near the creek in the ravine early in the night, and his squad got taken out. His gun had gone down during the fight, but I asked him to stay there anyway and report what he saw until he was found and killed. He spent several hours unarmed far from any other Alpha players, but the intelligence he relayed to me of the enemies movements were extremely valuable and prevented what could have been some major fiascoes. He never was found, even though several teams came very close to him. He ended up coming back due to the fact that he was freezing cold.

nah its cool, im gonna give up on building a dmr anytime soon, dont have the cash for that stuff

Well, Echo 1 doesn't make any spring pistols. However, Systema PTW will be ancient history once Echo 1 releases their PTW clones.

Yeah... why I bought a PTW instead of just getting an Echo1 Barrett I still do not know. Silly me.
