Some people will be, some people won't. I prefer to play things on the safe side. One of the admins was walking around with a razor blade at Oklahoma Invasion ripping ranks off of jackets if you hadn't earned them.

How? If the game admins decide that you can't wear a rank you haven't earned, how was he being a douche?

It was stated very clearly in the game information that was released months ahead of time that unearned ranks would be removed during the briefing.

Personally, I don't see the reason behind wearing rank anyways. I always get a chuckle when I see people post there uberleet spec ops load out with name patches and ranks and whatnot on it. If anything, some of my BDU's have CAP ranks on, but that's cause I Did actually earn it. If you wanna wear it, that's fine by my book, but wear it properly. Don't just stick it on, put it where it is actually supposed to go according to regulations

Nothing wrong with nametapes, if anything it makes it a LOT easier for people to communicate with eachother during games. I usually have a name on my hat, shoulder or front of my chest rig, and my backpack.
