A "guardian" is a legal term referring to either your actual parent(s) or someone who has fully adopted you, has custody of you, or is a guardian ad litem in some fashion, either pro tempore or permanently. Calling someone your guardian does not make it so and gives them no legal authority over you. Technically your parents could draft Pro Tempore Guardian ad Litem paperwork (or have an attorney do it) and then have someone agree to sign it and become so for the day, that is fine by me. Otherwise you will have to get a parent to tag along or wait until you are 15 and find an older player to take responsibility for you. Hopefully your dad will come out, this is a great father son sport and we would love to have the two of you.Dominum wrote: Rule #10: Age Requirements:
0-14yrs Parent or Guardian must be within sight at all times either playing or in the field as a noncom with a deadrag and eyepro.
15-17yrs An adult (age 18+) must be present to claim responsibility for them, they do not have to be related.
18+yrs None.
Eye protection requirements:
0-14yrs Must have a full facemask.
15-17yrs Must have a facemask or full seal eye protection with a mouthguard or shemagh.
18+yrs Must have ANSI rated eye protection.
All players under the age of 18 shall, when playing in a CQB game, wear a hard face mask with full seal eye protection. All players at or over the age of 18 shall be required to wear full seal eye protection. Additional face and mouth protection for players over 18 will be at their own discretion.
Eye pro requirements are subject to field owners' discretion. Most fields will require a signed waiver, if you are a minor it must be signed by a parent or legal guardian. If at any time a player removes his or her eye protection in the field of play while a game is in progress, they will be immediately ejected without a refund. There is no exception no matter how far away you think you are from the action, even if you are at your respawn.

I'm not trying to be rude here, but this isn't rocket science. If you're under 15, you HAVE TO HAVE A PARENT OR LEGAL GUARDIAN.
These rules are set by the insurance companies, and are non-negotiable.

There's no kill switch on awesome!
Re: Rattlesnake Ridge, Sun. July 10th
If your dad and his dad sign a document giving him temporary legal authority over you for the day and show it to me with both of their signatures notarized then that will hold up in court. Even if you do not know a notary the most it will cost you is $5.

If you are coming please vote in the poll, also please have your friends without forum accounts vote in the poll (I set Guest permissions to allow poll votes here, so those who don't want to make an account can still vote).

Re: Rattlesnake Ridge, Sun. July 10th
As many as you will need. I usually have a light trigger finger (except when running the M60) and only go through a few hundred rounds, some people have a heavy trigger finger and go through several thousand in a day.
