I'm sure somebody just forgot to set his alarm, or rather forgot to tell somebody else to tell somebody else to set an alarm. Or something.

Wait, isn't that the same thing that happened to Dom at The Delimitation Conflict?SteevoLS wrote:I'm sure somebody just forgot to set his alarm, or rather forgot to tell somebody else to tell somebody else to set an alarm. Or something.

All of Saturday's mission "stuff" was on the field on Friday PM, we arrived Friday afternoon and Dom and Felix were already putting it out then.

Nope, I was not placing objectives late and I woke up an hour and a half beofore the briefing, get your facts straight.

I dunno, 30k and I showed up at 9:45, and the 9:00 briefing wasn't even 5-more-minutes'd till 10:45.

What 9:00 briefing?
The game itself did start late because it took forever to get anyone to switch sides. Fortunately for everyone involved who wanted to actually play airsoft Mr. Black and a few of his friends stepped up (thanks BTW). I was not about to start a game knowing that almost nothing whatsoever would happen all day because it would have been 22 experienced players versus 5 experienced players and 11 inexperienced children. I have played on both sides of games like that before and neither was fun at all. I like a challenge.Dominum wrote:Sunday, August 7th

What was the player count?
Re: Crisis In Dunundistan II August 6/7 2011
I am not sure what the exact number was, GN got the final tally after I started the game.

Honestly if you had hot keg girls at the objectives I font think it would have made many happy. It wad a great thought out game. Our enemy was the heat. I took a bunch of rookies and completed a hard ass mission. I took five guys and snuck up on a bravo hq...anything is possible. But if teams can bring alt camp it would help. U won't break out in rash if u don't wear multicam......
Re: Crisis In Dunundistan II August 6/7 2011
Ditto for green. (Most of the games I've been too, and I"m not saying this is the norm, the numbers are either dead even, or are in Alpha's favor)IronChef wrote: But if teams can bring alt camp it would help. U won't break out in rash if u don't wear multicam......
Re: Crisis In Dunundistan II August 6/7 2011
The numbers were not in Alpha's favor this time, but generally that used to be the case. In fact, it used to always be the case and balancers used to always go Bravo for that very reason. Things have changed, we are having more and more games where balancers have to go to Alpha and sometimes it becomes MC vs everything else because of numbers. That used to be unthinkable, but times change I guess.
The final count was 100 BTW.

Multicam isn't uber-elite anymore....u can get it in kid sizes. It's come down in price...ATACS is the new Gucci. Either way alpha was missing some major teams. But hey therewith always next time

Romba. I completely apologize for our encounter. I thought there was a a medic behind you in that bush you were standing next too. I kept taking fire from that bush or somewhere right next to it. I even got a nasty hit to the top of the head from it. I was not aiming at you but at that bush. I was using 0.20g BBS in that gun instead of 0.30g which I normally run. The reason for this is that gun fires about 500+ and 0.30g just plain hurt too much out of there. The draw back to that is those lighter BBs were having some more spread than I was use to. That is why I was trying to get you and the other guy to move out of the way but not back into that bush were you could improve your position by getting healed easier. (Hence I told you not to move back to that medic that I thought was back there.) I knew there was a medic there somewhere because one guy got medic dragged. But those are not excuses. I am sorry that you got hit a few times extra, it was not on purpose. I knew you were already dead. Seriously, I completely apologize and believe me, it would never have happened nor will it ever happen again if I could prevent it.
Dont worry about apologizing, hees fine. It's all part of the game!
Brandon:
I suppose I should apologize too, as my rant was a bit unnecessary. coming home and finding 10-15 large welts on my stomach really pissed me off. But to clarify the guy in the bush was dead too and I did tell you that. With a gun shooting THAT HOT I was pretty pissed when you lit me up for shuffling around. ANYWAY thanks for apologizing and I'm sorry too.
The one thing I know about that was we were waiting for admins to place objectives. Nothing against our admins, you ran a great game, but maybe objectives could be placed before players are on field.BKMrBlack wrote:2. Time: Games need to start on time, and Sunday play needs to start bright and early and end early for those who traveled (9-12 on Sunday would have been good play time). I heard the game called a "military simulation". If that's the case, I would remind folks that if our soldiers are at a FOB in Afghanistan and the Taliban attacks, our soldiers can't yell out "hey, we aren't ready!". If everyone knows that game is on at 11:00 and it's starting with our without them, they will get there (or not. I've been the only one on the field when the horn sounded at a game before...)
I know you're not mad at me I was just trying to clarify that I wasn't reading you when you were getting mad at me I wasn't trying to be smart just couldn't hear you or do anything about it due to brig pinned. And WAS that ammo can ours?stuckmojo wrote: romba im not mad at you i will fight with you anywhere anytime.

Mad dog, don't butt in, that's not your issue.
