KWA m4a1 feeding problem

Post by dftrent12 » Mon Aug 22, 2011 12:55 pm

I just got a used KWA from a guy on the forum and it's not feeding correctly. It is double feeding a lot and when it does get a single shot off it has almost no velocity. I'm thinking it is just the hop up because the hop up looks to be in pretty rough condition but I'm nbot positive. Does it sound like the hop up or is it something else. I know it's not the mag because all three of mine do the same thing.

Oh this baby? It is genuine walmart brand.
If it has been said by Henry, then it's probably right.

Sounds like a torn bucking, which is a cheap fix.

I checked the bucking and it doesn't look like it has a tear in it.

I know you said its not your mag but it may be. My KWA is very picky. So is my buddy 30k's. The same thing you are having trouble with is what happens to mine with certain mags. If you got it with the KWA hi-cap try that.

upon extensive work, it was the bucking. It was not torn but it is worn and was not seated on the barrel properly. Took 5 minutes to fix but I think i'm just going to replace the whole hop up to get it a bit more accurate. I've decided to turn this into a dmr so anyone have suggestions on a good replacment. I just think the 2gx hop up is overrated.

The 2gx bucking is one of the best available, actually.

well I wouldn't know because the bucking in it is not the 2gx. I am also missing the c clamp thing so im sure the hop up is not centered.
