ICS has done it!

Post by Avenger » Thu Sep 29, 2011 10:00 am

Look what ICS made! I must have one!

Now something for U.S. WWII loadouts that isn't a Thompson :)

I also read that they're making an M1 Garand. Can anyone confirm this?

Ares has had these out for quite awhile. I saw it at an airsoft convention in NC earlier this year. The problem with the gun is the battery goes in the mag, so you either have to have a bunch of batteries or swap batteries when you change a mag. Neither are very practical. I do love the gun though.

A grease gun Felix. THese are AEGs, cheaper than the ARES and probably better quality.

The ICS has a batt. in the reciever Gambler.

It's a grease gun for 180, but more importantly, the battery isn't in the mag, like it is in the ares gun.

It looks like ICS got a battery in the actual gun. That alone makes it better than the Ares IMO.

Not my style.. not into the the WW2 scene, but it is nice to see an iconic WW2 weapon come out and be at a decent price point. And with the battery in the gun itself, I agree with Gam.. much better than the ARES version.

As for the M1 Garands by maruzen, they are gas.. and cost $500+ from overseas stores. If there was some sort of AEG M1 that would be nice, but I don't know how you could get a mag system to work and keep it realistic looking.

I said that already guys. I think that the M1 probably has mags like bolt action snipers, or at least similar. This would be a sweet sidearm, or great for a Vietnam or WWII loadout.

This gun isn't a sidearm at at all. It's a SMG.

If you take the mags out of a M14 Socom the gun looks like an M1 Garand, as stated above though the only thing you could really do is put a sniper type mag in there and it would limit your ammo. It would also have to be semi only.

Gambler, guns like this are my favorite sidearms. MP5K, MP7, Grease Gun:) I know that it isn't a conventional sidearm, but it's what I like.

Please refrain from putting the TM and CYMA together. The TM's are much better, add a lipo and now you have a sidearm. ;)

None of the guns you mentioned are intimidating. You can't holster an MP5K with the mag in it and you wouldn't be able to with the M3 either. Before you can draw either and load it you are done.
