One thing that bothered me the entire time i was there was all of the firing going on in the parking area. I was scared to take my sunglasses off. There needs to be a designated area for firing in the parking lot, away from the cars. I know most people were doing it safely, but its an unnecessary risk that can so easily be avoided.

'The only firing I saw was point to the woods away from the cars in the big lot. But in any case, around the cars firing does need to be stopped.

I wasn't down in the main parking area, but people should not be firing their AEG's in the parking lot period.

"The only downsides to the day from my viewpoint were that in the afternoon I had left my M249 at the tower because of issues with the mag jamming. I came back to take it off the field with me and found that it was being used by someone (I believe from palmetto guard, but I didn't see him). "

If there is a gun anywhere in the field and it isn't yours, then don't pick it up and start shooting it. Everyone should be respecting everyone else's property. If I see this happen you will be escorted off the field.

"Then I got shot up in the parking area by more Palmetto Guard, this time while trying to avoid being shot by arbee and some other guys I was playing around with. I will admit that I was pissed."

First off, you shouldn't have been doing that in the parking lot anyway, but that doesn't excuse the person who shot you.

apparently alot of people are complaining about the late game start. 1. it took a while to get everybody chronoed with just one chrono maybe the aosc should by more. 2. the safety briefing took a while with all the first time players. 3. we had some first time players on bravo that got lost on the way to hq and had to be directed. 4. i brought new batteriers for the radios and they were defective so i had to get more thanks to the palmetto gaurd guy that let me use his

To clarify, I was not shooting. I was letting arbee and his friends play with my asr, and they also had my mp5 out, but I wasn't among those shooting. I was just trying not to get shot.

I'm as guilty as anyone else about shooting in the parking area, though I am careful about it.

All the same, I do agree. We'll make a point about this at the next game.

One thing I think would speed up the time before games would be not wasting time on the back story. If people are intertested in that, they can read the forum post. Just keep it to the safety briefing and the scenario specific objectives.

As for chrono, just start the chrono earlier. If the person who is doing the chrono is there, just open up the chrono then.

The only thing I think also needs to be set is that the rules laid out at the beginning stay that way through the game. Blackwater had rules laid out at the beginning, but they changed 3 or 4 times during the day. The last thing is about admin. If your playing, your not an admin. I think that needs to be set out simply for fairness. I don't have a problem with admins switching out and playing for awhile, but they shouldn't have admin powers for anything but safety issues or clarifying the original rules. No switching of rules or making new ones, just to keep it unbiased.

I somewhat agree with this. I was a first timer at this game, but the backstory and rules overview was really tedious considering all of it was in forums online plus most likely the new people were here with someone experienced who can explain before hand or as they go through the game. The game overall is pretty simple and the best way to learn is to just get in there and play. The chrono seemed to take so long because too many people were off goofing around or showing up late. The shooting in the parking lot, i too was guilty of but i was out of range of all vehicles except for the one ironfox came in, and i also was shooting at trees a good distance down the parking lot. I keep hearing about the games not starting on time over and over again, maybe just move the start time back an hour and then by the time everything is ready we will be starting "on time".

Actually from now on, like at most game, the mods will run the chronos. Chrono for a game this size should not cause the game to start so late. Help at the chrono is always appreciated though.

As far as chrono goes, it will be nice for it to be mod only, and therefore done by people who have the med/ fps memorized. My m4 at 380 fps was given a 20 ft med. I know it needs a 50, and went by that 50ft rule, but not knowing the med/ fps limits at the chrono seems to happen all the time.
