It's been in the rules for as long as I can remember. It certainly was last year; I specifically remember taking my full seal Wiley's because mesh wasn't allowed.
Don't blame the game producers and field owners because you didn't bother checking yourself.

Straight From the Field Owner and Field Rep:
"I will post this on the thread as well, the only way mesh goggles will be allowed is if the player is wearing anzi rated full seal eye pro beneath it. "

I can understand the mesh, we may not use bio BBs, but other places do. As for not allowing shooters, that sucks.

I know the few that went to Fulda last year from SOCOM wore mesh goggles and no one said anything to them about it, and on NCAO it seems some others have been wearing mesh to previous Fuldas unless I'm misunderstanding them.SteevoLS wrote:It's been in the rules for as long as I can remember. Rules = one thing
What actually happens = another thing altogether
Just bear in mind that if you wear mesh, it is entirely possible that you get spotted by a ref and kicked out.

Or get hit by a few shattering bio BBs.

Re: Fulda Gap Oct. 14-16 2011
gettin hit in the mouth is worse...my oggles aree ess full seal converted to mesh...going to wear my ess shooters underneath...but just like steevo says, what the rules say and what is allowed are 2 diff things, i have learned that much since i have played...seen 14 year old kid runnign around in shooters....
Re: Fulda Gap Oct. 14-16 2011
yeah people are posting about having worn mesh and shooters on that field a week or two ago so....whatever...i'm bringing both so either way i'm ready...
