1. There are numerous, and I mean NUMEROUS, different resistance fighters around the globe. Whatever well-distributed weapon you choose, the chances are, some resistance fighters somewhere is fighting with it.

ex) Derka Derka = AK-47, IRA = M16, Chechens = ... many different weapons

2. That being said, still, the majority of the resistance fighters use AK variants, from AK-47 to AK-74, and from Saiga shotgun to Dragunov. For the sake of less educated public, I suggest you go with an AK. MAC-11 or an Uzi of some sort is also a nice touch.

Thanks V. My dream weapon for this is the VSS Vintorez, but I don't have the money or the time to put in a custom DMR right now. I'm probably going to get a G&G CM AK47 from Dom, and a TF11 later on.

If anything I would call the Vintorez an anti-rebel weapon, considering that it is primarily issued to Spetznaz.

Yes, deployed against Resistance fighters=Captured by victorious resistance fighters.

There really arn't too many victorious resistance fighters, because most of the time someone else has to either bail them out, or when they fail no one hears of them ever again.
