Re: Op24-3 AAR
Yes indeed. For normal games it'll be on bravo, unless needed to balence on alpha.
Re: Op24-3 AAR
i used to run bravo, but then it turned summer and i stopped going to blue hole. if fallout is at a game, please go alpha. seriously. i am not riding around in that technical. my parents made me get a tetanus shot cuz i cut my arm in it. a tiny freaking cut and i get 4 shots. not fun.

Re: Op24-3 AAR
Won't be a technical, it'll be a TANK!
Re: Op24-3 AAR
1: The field owner was told after TDC never to let Eddie drive again for that very reason. He shouldn't have been allowed to at this game. I am pretty pissed that the field owner disregarded our requirements so blatantly.
2: No deadrags should ever be sticking out of pockets when you are not dead, period. If you can't tuck it down in your pocket so that it isn't visible, you need a larger pocket. If you are alive, no bright red, orange, or yellow should be visible. This applies to everyone.
3: It was very disappointing that the game was called for lunch (especially since the numbers were still even). If you can't coordinate lunch and rest breaks with the other people on your faction for immersive games like this, shame on you. It shouldn't ruin the fun for the rest of us. I for one came prepared not to leave the field for 25 straight hours because that is the entire point of these games. I spent a couple of hours low crawling through a creek bed right under the nose of people going back and forth from HQ, watching Ironfox dig a hole and fire randomly, and watching Foxx and Wolfy sit on the bank setting the hopup of something directly over my head. This was all wasted when I ambushed two fire teams on their way back to HQ and they told me someone had decided to stop the game for lunch. I came to play non stop, that's why I like 24hr OPs, because I know that I can take the time to properly stalk the enemy and break his will to fight by making him feel unsafe at every point on the map.
4: Wolfy, the area you and the rest of Alpha chose to set up your tents was on the field of play, meaning it was just as viable a combat zone as anywhere else in the field. Therefore, eyepro is required just like anywhere else in play unless you are in a fully sealed tent or vehicle. Next time you may want to camp in the parking lot if you do not want your tent to catch a few rounds. In any case, that is why I gave you the courtesy of a tent knifing instead of shooting you while you were sitting just outside of it .
5: So the day got off to a great start, I went down to the west end of the field with AJAX and others at the start, and we rolled over the bases there, then took the HQ. Several Alpha guys in the creek bed early on got a really nasty surprise when I showed up (having been a few minutes behind the main line) and they proceeded to fire at me from the creek. Unfortunately for them I had just gotten out my new P90 with a RPS in the low 30s. After a couple of minutes, the creek was full of Alpha covered in deadrags wondering what the hell was being shot at them. After that Stephen and I jumped in the creek and made our way to Lincolns Hold while the rest of Bravo went there via land. It was clear in a matter of minutes. Next we went up to the new base on the SE road and took it, then we took the tower. After that Bravo kind of split up, hunting Alpha where we could find them. I then went on my excursion behind Alpha lines for a couple hours. After the lunch break, I was a bit perturbed so I decided to take a break and ride along with Fallout in his tank. I thoroughly enjoyed myself and enjoyed hanging out with him and getting to mow down some people. When evening came I switched over to the Thompson (P90 has no cutoff lever) and headed out with the rest of Bravo to the northernmost base. There we engaged along the road, and it quickly became a stalemate. I decided to head over to the tower and help take it. After Felix and I and a few others cleared the area below, there were still two up top. Naturally, I decided to frag it. Felix offered them the option to surrender instead, and I heard one of them take it, but either the other guys voice sounded the same or the other guy said nothing. I climbed up underneath of the stairs, swung myself out on the frame, climbed up some more, and dropped a tornado in the window. There was then no question who was dead. I hung out up there for a while, then Aircross came from the NW field respawn and shot me out of it. After respawning I met up with Ramond and we tried to track down a group of Alpha guys with an objective, but we didn't find them. We were close to Alpha HQ though, so I suggested we check it out. I had been told the objective items could be stolen from the enemy. We walked in, took three objective items, and trekked back to Bravo HQ. I started walking down the roads to the Alpha HQ to retrieve the last objective item. I assumed Bravo was engaging elsewhere (still thinking I was not the last of the Bravohicans). Well, a bit down the road outside of Bravo HQ I heard Allen talking, so I stopped and listened. It turned out all of Aircross was walking towards me. I stepped to the side in the shadows, waiting for them to pass. Well, dftrent and Stealthhero were at the front of the line and when they walked by I would have touched them if I had taken a step forward, so I figured there was no way people further down the line wouldn't spot me. I shot the two of them nearly point blank, then stepped into the road and fired as quickly as I could into the rest of them. Some fire was returned but I think they couldn't tell me apart from their two front men. They all died except Allen, who had been standing behind Garrett, he then poked out and shot me. So, we all had a good laugh about the accidental ambush, and once they all healed each other, we all walked over to the tower. They decided to walk North and leave me there to respawn. I promptly hit the treeline and went to their HQ to retrieve the last item. It was very heavy, so I had to take the mag out of my Thompson and stick it down the back of my jacket. I was only a couple hundred feet away when I saw a group walking silently towards me. I ran off the road up the hill, dropped the tank, went prone, and pulled my pistol. I expected them to come after me, and after a few minutes they fired a few rounds in my general direction, but then broke off pursuit. I laid there for several minutes to make sure it was clear, and then continued on. I was pretty tired when I got back carrying that thing, but I was relieved. I decided to take a breather at HQ, and that's when I was told the game was going to be called for the night and I had in fact been the only Bravo player out there for some time. After that I went to bed.

Re: Op24-3 AAR
I had a great time. To all Bravo players, THANK YOU. I couldn't have asked for a better group. Everybody listened, and did what they were asked to do. The loss was my fault. I came with just one plan, have fun and shoot a lot of people. As far as I'm concerned we accomplished that. 907 and team EX, great to meet yall and run with everyone of yall. I want to say I had a blast, and look forward to playing with all again.
Issues I had was taken to Garrett, who handled some then and am sure he will handle the other.
I seen nothing but great attitudes on both sides. I only witnessed one hit calling incident, and talked with that player then. Remember, just cause you think you are hitting them, your bbs may be falling short. All in all, great game. I would have liked to seen more players, but was happy with the players that showed up.

It was still fun just firing and advancing. Sure we may have not gotten a lot of bases, but we rolled the field and took out much opposition.Diesel wrote:I had a great time. Garrett spoke with me on the phone just a bit ago about a few things, one of them being that he has taken care of the technical issue once and for all. It will not be an issue again.

Re: Op24-3 AAR
The game was decent, but was really REALLY lacking compared to Op. 24-2. As soon as I saw just how few tents were set up on the field, I realized that the game was going to go straight down hill. Without enough troops committing to stay the night, alpha's tactics were pretty much guaranteed to shift to guerrilla-style warfare, which I was not very enthusiastic about. Not to say I didn't rack up a good couple kills doing so, but picking off zoned-out bravos wasn't going to win the day.
Specifically, it was after a massive force of bravo, lead by armor, overran onyx and forced me into hiding that I realized just how over-extended Alpha forces were. I layed there for a while, listening to diesel order all bravo to points 2 and 3 and voicing the strategy of "chasing alpha around the field" before heading there himself. I came out of hiding and attempted to run up behind a squad of bravo non-chalantly walking down the trail, but decided not to engage due to the numbers I was facing. (It was the squad with the ACU guys and the asian in jeans. You guys REALLY need to check your 6's more often, because I was shadowing you guys in the open down that whole trail. )
Anyway, after IronFox took its R&R early at 8 pm, we got up and took an hour long patrol around 11:30. Wolfy, Trig, and I roamed pretty much the entire bravo section of the field and didn't encounter anything but the voices of some kids dicking around in the distance. It was at this point that we decided that the game was pretty much dead, and there was no point in sticking around anymore. We pulled out around 12:30 and went to Waffle House.

If its on youtube, mind if I get the link? and the ACU guys were probably us lol yeah its something we talked about after game since we got ambushed a lot earlier in the game until hooking up with Diesel and moving with him.Foxx wrote:The game was decent, but was really REALLY lacking compared to Op. 24-2.
