G&G M4A1, good gun to get?

Post by asianhaw808 » Thu Nov 10, 2011 6:47 pm

Hey everyone, I need an opinion on a new gun I want to get in the near future. Those at OP24-3 know that my TM M4A1 broke out there so now I am shopping for a new gun. I am looking to get a G&G M4A1. Here is the gun on Airsoft Megastore.

What do you guys think? Should I get this or another M4 brand?

G&Gs make a great rifle, but before you buy a Combat Machine (plastic) G&G M4 you might as well buy Gambler's G&G Proline (metal body) for $150.

Hmmm idk cuz all I got are mini batteries and no crane stock batteries. Im looking to get that so I dont have to invest so much on getting different batteries.

It comes with a crane stock battery, and rewiring a gun is a minor task. You can lead a horse to water, but you can't make him drink it.

Why not just fix your TM for a lot less than buying a new gun?

Well I got my TM back in 2005 so its a pretty old gun and it was my very first gun. The gun still functions, but it is duck taped because the upper receiver is broken. I could just get a new receiver, however, I think its time for me to get with the times in airsoft. That gun is jut very old lol

Take it from me, old has nothing to do with it. TM makes a good gun, but that is just my opinion.

Weaponblender has JG metal bodies for $50ish. Those should be TM spec.

lol its not that. I know the value of a TM and I just didnt think about that because I said it was old. The Citadel owes me $3,234 so when I get that i'll be able to fix that =]

listen man, i have multiple Ubershoddy guns like my well p-90 that are more than 9 years old. when i was in second grade, i was playing with one of the same guns i have today. as Deisel said, old has nothing to do with it. if you want some good, cheap guns, you can go to airrattle.com. their guns are mostly jg and echo 1 though. you can get a $150 gun for $80 on airrattle. just thought i'd let you in on my secret :D

I agree with the kind gentleman who say replace the damaged receiver. Tokyo Marui produces solid guns and a majority of the parts out there are compatible with them.
