World at War is filled with modders. If you don't have enough for BF3 or Skyrim, go with Bad Company 2. I've clocked in over 300 hours on it...

Bad Company 2 has a WWII mission and a few WWII era guns in multiplayer.

Re: xBox 360
The Vietnam expansion was very fun. The Uh-1 and TukTuk were probably the most fun vehicles to use in it.

Re: xBox 360
1) Internet Connection via xbox wifi adapter thing or an internet cable. Either one will work.
2) There are several forms of XboxLive: Gold and Silver...
Silver is free, but you do not get to join XboxLive parties, play online multiplayer, or use any of the additional content like NetFlix, Zune, etc.
Gold costs about $8 a month. I would suggest you get the 12-month subscription because it works out to about $5 dollars a month and they usually give you an additional month for free. The 12-month costs about $60. Gold includes XboxLive mutilplayer, XboxLive parties, and the additional content (netFlix, Zune. Games on Demand, etc.)
NetFlix and Zune have their own subscription fees, though.

Re: xBox 360
Not quite. As far as I know, only the Xbox360 Wi-Fi adapter is compatible.
Basically, this:

Or, you can go with the Internet cable (I forgot the actual name) which will be cheaper but, in my opinion, more of a hassle.

I'm sure you can find one used on ebay for a much cheaper price.

Re: xBox 360
or ask a technology-advanced person to splice you a 50-ft cord so you can do such a task to play.
