New Gun: KWA, VFC, or G&P M4?

Post by mahboy » Mon Dec 19, 2011 3:11 pm

My G&G combat machine broke down, and I am thinking about a new m4.

From person experience, which is better.

KWA M4

VFC m4 E-series

G&P m4

Want a gun that is good out of the box, but still had a pretty good exterior. Performance comes first.

G&Ps have excellent externals and solid internals.
VFCs have excellent externals and solid internals.
KWAs have decent externals (god-awful trades, but solid materials) and the latest run have solid internals.

I hope that helped!

Stephen is correct of course, so the difference comes down to price mostly.

My vote is for the VFC e-series.

^ this. It rarely takes more than $30 of parts to fix most gun failures.

You guys are horrible at giving advice!

Buy the VFC or G&P AND fix your G&G

The thing is getting kind of old and needs to be replaced anyway. Kind of wanted a better shooting gun too.

still cheaper than buying a whole new gun. Besides, G&G is on par with all the other guns you listed. They all shoot about the same. The KWA might be a little better than the others, but it seems like that still might not be the case.

last response from me

I've got an M4 that's 5yrs old that's been rebuilt no less than a dozen times. No gun ever NEEDS to be replaced, just reconditioned every once in a while.

As Steevo said, chances are it's just a few bucks to repair any issue and then with a good shimming, some compression work and proper lube it will shoot better than it ever has. It's always good to have a back up that's just as good as your primary. Besides, if the back up to your back up's back up doesn't make people drool, well then you fail.

Well, if that's the only problem, then be happy. You should have expected that from a G&G anyway, in fact, I would replace the wiring in a G&G the second I bought it.

These guys are dumb. Your G&G can not be repaired, so I'll buy it for parts. How does $50 sound?
