also not to be a nitpicker...did the sr71 loose an engine???
nothing out there can touch a blackbird as far as i know. and i know airplanes rather well

but other than that...game on :D
It prolly fell apart due to lack of maintenance/replacement.  They retired SR71's in 2001 for cheaper satellites and UAV's.

The first one was sold to the CIA of all people then Nasa and the Air Force got hold of them.
"The last SR-71 flight was made on Saturday October 9, 1999, at the Edwards AFB air show. The aircraft used was NASA 844. The aircraft was also scheduled to make a flight the following day, but a fuel leak grounded the aircraft and prevented it from flying again. The NASA SR-71s were then put in flyable storage, where they remained until 2002. They were then sent to museums."

Note the one in the center,a 2 seater:

They dumped them for planes like the X-1 and Aurora.

They were used in the Air Force up until 2001 according to the History Channel.

Im not sure if Jetfire from Transformers counts.   :P

I'll be making this game, since it's 15 minutes from my house.  Tanker I'll volunteer for SF, either tan or green.

I'm looking to make it to this game.  Getting a new gun for Christmas, so I'll be eager to test it out.

I will have to go to this one.  it's the backyard.  And glad to have a game I don't have to drive 2 or 3 hours for.  Count me in on this one.  I'll see how many G.O.A.T.s want to go to this. and get back to you Tanker.
