38th parallel

Post by specter » Sat Feb 04, 2012 6:00 pm

good game. not too many people. people must have thought it was going to rain so they bailed. the dmz's sucked. i wouldnt want to play in any more games with them. the parking lot ended up being more fun than the game. I enjoyed the random thunder b's and steevo shooting ketchup. thanks to dom for giving me a radio and face mask for next to nothing. cool accents btw. good game. cant complain.

I had a good time. I only played for about an hour, but had plenty of fun just taking pictures throughout the day (not too many good pictures to be taken, unfortunately).

See you all at Blue Hole!

It was a fun day. It would have been nice to have more people from Team Bravo show up. Oh well all in all it was alot of fun. I just wish I could have been there to see C Roberts take a dive in the creek. Cant wait to go to The Blue Hole. Thanks to everyone for making a FNG feel at home.

The game wasn't too bad. I only stayed until lunch, so I have no idea what happened in the second half.

I liked the idea of the game, but I think the scenario could have used a little work. The main issues i think were that the only bases worth having were on the same side of the field (although with the small number of players, this was probably better), and a lack of emphasis on intel in the dmz's. As far as I saw, the only time any of the dmz rules were needed/used was at one point when us in ahpla had pushed far enough forward that bravo could fight from their boundary line to avoid getting shot. And then the lack of bother over the objectives. I know some bravo guys did it on alpha's side too, but I walked around bravo dmz openly without seeing a single soul for around an hour, collecting 5 flags (which I showed off) in the process before leaving their dmz right behind their creekside forces.

Overall I enjoyed it tho. I got about 7-8 kills when I was in the battle, and remember only 2 deaths. I'm about to refit the asr for sc vs ga, hopefully with even better results than this game, and I have a scar to build too now.

My wife likes my accents too.

I had a great time as always, and enjoyed getting some of my money's worth out of that bike. I LOVED the epic firefight in the creek bed that seemed to go on forever. You guys are lucky my mag ran out when it did ;) . Thanks for the fun times and good shootouts. I think the DMZs should have been a lot smaller, but game play was pretty active despite them. They were temporary anyway. Good job with the game Garrett, thanks for taking pics Steevo, and good game all of you. I can't wait to make another sexy time like bear.

The entire field was set to be in play, but with thirty players it would have hurt the game more by leaving it all open. The same goes for the dmzs. Sixty or more players and the game would have ran a lot differently. I still had a blast though, especially on the first and second game after lunch.

Only only played for 30 minutes, and I shot Garrett.

I'm happy.
