Where can I go to get my gun fixed?

Post by Shadow95 » Tue Feb 21, 2012 7:00 pm

I have been having problems with my SCAR and I was wondering if anyone knew where I could get it fixed at.

Where do you live? Perhaps there is someone close by who can take a look at it for you.

What problems have you been having with your scar?

Im pretty sure there is something wrong within the gear box, I took it apart(my gun not the gearbox) and everything else looks fine, the bbs get stuck though before entering the barrel. it looks like it is because the gun isn't shooting hard enough to get it all the way through but im not 100% sure. I live in Bluffton it is right by Hilton head if you know where that is.

hmmmmm, ok, so what made you open the gun in the first place, what was different that you think it's broken, what's the issue?

Hey caleb, it may be something in your gearbox, but the D-Boys SCARs are proprietary from what I've heard. Which means=very few parts availiable

They arent proprietary. You can get plenty of parts, especially for hop up.

It kept on jamming so I took it apart to see what it was, everything is fine with the barrel and hop up but the piston doesnt shoot fast/hard enough to get the bb out of the barrel so Im assuming something is wrong with my piston.

I mean the gearbox is proprietary. Some parts may fit some may not, but there is always modding. You should see if Werner could look at it.

Read through that...

And this... (This one is really helpful and says nothing about the gearbox being proprietary. It's a standard V2.)
