There is enough drama on this thread, so I will not point fingers as to why things went the way they did. If SC and GA don't get along then lets simply wait awhile before attempting something like this again. Arguing about who didn't do what wont stop the select players that broke rules. (On both sides.) And it sure as hell won't change the fact that SC walked away feeling somewhat unwelcome. (At least that's how my team seem's to have felt.)
In the beginning things quickly drew to a stalemate, as they commonly do when two equally determined forces collide. I had a pretty good time digging in on the outskirts of the city and went a pretty long time without taking a bullet. I can confirm that on the way up there, we (1st platoon) to a few casualties via friendly fire from 3rd platoon on our left flank. Luckily a few radio transmissions cleared that up. I still feel that if we had gotten the armored support we needed, 1st platoon could've taken and held the city early on. Yet, only about 45b min after we dug in, Ga forces pushed us back and gained point Russia.
The fight evolved from and advance on the city to a porous defense line, thus allowing the 7-8 Ga players to get into our under-staffed HQ.
On that note, I was the first SC player to enter back into the base after it had been blown out. I made an attempt to supress the GA guys still occupying the area, but ended up becoming pinned in the huge dirt pit beside out HQ structure. If not for the SC troops who came at the GA troops from behind, I would've gotten overrun. I didn't even realize I had been assisted till an equally confused SC player charged over the dirt pile trying to saftey kill me. (Apologies for the two rounds to the chest. You spooked me pretty good.

I will admit that IronFox had no idea about the early lunch, and that we went on an amazingly far-right flanking maneuver to attempt a strike at GA HQ. Although it was a fruitless mission, we were at least able to get a few pics of some GA maps with all the codenames clear as crystal. Hope that wasn't against the rules.

Despite our shortcomings, I had a good time. Didn't really get to fight alongside the usual friendly faces this time, but meeting some of the newer players was kinda nice.
