How does the M98b compare to the L86/M40A5?

I assume you mean the l96, Felix.
The m98b has the least amount of bullet drop. At 661 meters, I was aiming between the 1st and second bar with the 12x.

With the l96 at 589 meters, I was placing the second bar on the target's head. It was a nice shot, too; running trget and got them on my first shot.

I prefer the L96 because it still has better range than the m40a5 and SV98, and still cycles the bolt faster than the m98b.

The next DLC has cqb based mapas and apparently guns. After that, the next DLC will have bigger maps, including one bigger than heavy metal on BC2.
Of course, this is just what I have heard. No promises.

Shoot bad guy in chestm, cock rifle, look through scope to shoot him again, he's gone. The semi rifles are to weak to use at loooong range as well for me.

Yes, the M95 is my favorite weapon in BC2.

Instead of going to quick match, select find a server. From there, just change your preferences.

You don't aim right if it doesn't kill them one shot. I actually had a sniper war on tehran highway, between myself at the top hill respawn and a team both ontop of the highway and a building across the map. Chest hits did nothing, but all the headshots worked just find. Aim high, my friends.

Smoothpull bolt does wonders, you know. As does accuracy.

How I roll:
M98b with 12x scope, bipod, and nothing else. Record headshot: 800+ meters.
SV98 with 8x, smoothpull bolt, and nothing else. Total kills: 300
And I'm getting into the SKS with a red-dot, VFG, and suppressor. Recon who PTFO's: Winning.

The Phycidal Warfare Pack seems to be free, and gives you: T88 LMG(underrated IMO), SKS/flash hider and DAO-12/Flechettes

T88 was a beautiful lmg back in the day, sks is a good cqb rifle, and dao isn't a us12.
