Thanks steevols :) i wasn't sure where it would go for this discussion. i was still wondering what would all have to be involved in making a game like that and when we could hold it as well as where.

Wow... Way to be a "Debbie Downer." A game is only as good as the effort put into it. If you involve simple, but exciting objectives, make sure the field is suited for the scenario, advertise the game on multiple fronts, and ensure a reasonable field fee then there should be no issue.

I hear that TDC was alot of fun, and the only reason SOCO was bad was because of poor sportsmanship, but even then I still had a good time. GA runs their games different than the AOSC, which makes me thankful to be a part of the AOSC. This next SC/GA game will be fun, as it will be in SC, and I think I know where too.

That's funny that you think that you know where when there has been no discussion amongst any of the mods about even putting one on after all the problems with this year's game.
You name a game, I've been to it.

If I've banned you, then you have more than likely deserved it.

If I deleted a post it didn't need to be there or I simply didn't like it.

Sorry about that Gambler, I remember talking to Dom about it, and he said he would like to have it at Blue Hole if he had the choice, just because it is so close to Georgia. The game, even with its problems, was nothing compared to a simple AOSC game we have here, so we should consider having a 3rd Border War, because I heard great things about TDC two years ago.

that sounds good but we would need to make sure everything is planned well and people would want to go plus we would have to make sure that the right people could help us setup the field and find a reasonable price for it all plus find out how many days we would want this to be.

No need to be sorry MARPAT. TDC was a good game, but had a lot of the same issues as GA vs SC this year. I wouldn't mind having another one, but if we do we are not going to be putting up with any BS on the field like what happened this year.

Thank you, Gambler, I just hope to never see the horrible sportsmanship like I saw at SOCO, which I know the AOSC is strict on so that should not be a problem in the future.
