Being OCD and playing airsoft to tend to go hand in hand. I expect to see you with a perfect geardo loadout within 6 months.
Take jrleonard up on his offer and try another magazine. If it feeds fine and you can deal with not have 300-400 rounds in a single magazine, then drop $50 on a box set of midcap magazines.
Did Airsoft GI lie about my gun, or is it goofed up?

Ooooorrrrrrrr, you can get some Lonex Flash Mags, they're a little more pricey, but man are they nice. You've just got a string to pull instead of winding the high cap so many times; you just pull the string a few times and it winds it all the way. They are very nice. Whatever you figure out, I still think sending your gun back is silly, 5fps of difference at that level is almost nothing. That's the difference from angling your gun a little differently on the chrono. Heck, we've got two chronos here, and they read about 8-5 fps difference between the two, with the same gun. But I think I'm repeating myself, and probably beating a dead horse here...

So for $5 I was able to send in just the mag for repairs, good deal. I also broke down the gun and found that the piston o-ring was dirty and shrunk down, giving me NO compression. A fresh #14 danco o-ring fixed that problem. I threw in a KWA m130 spring while I was at it too. My JG stock 8.4v battery wouldn't pull it so I had to charge up the intellect 1600 mah 8.4v, which it runs fine on, not sure how many shots I'll get out of it though.
The only sad news is that the mag catch screw stripped on reassembly. The screw is incredibly soft and small, it took almost no force to do it. I'm going to have to figure out a way to remove it for future disassembly.

Try using one of those star shaped screws instead of an allen key. Thats what I use on my KWA, and it's alot easier.captainkirk05 wrote:The only sad news is that the mag catch screw stripped on reassembly.
