R-hop experiences
Hey everyone. Just wondering who all in the crowd here has tried the r-hop and its variants such as the ir-hop, z-kit, so on. Feel free to share some of your installation stories and performance results!
Re: R-hop experiences
Star_Folder installed my R-Hop and Flat-Hop into two different guns of mine.
Both were phenomenal and gave my BBs a good flat trajectory.

Re: R-hop experiences
I recently made a flat hop for my sub 300 FPS AR, and got incredible accuracy, but no additional range.
I do not always accidentally, but when I do, I accidentally the whole thing.

Good experiences with all of the above. The z-kit is the lazy man's r-hop, it works as it should given you install it correctly.

Re: R-hop experiences
Star_Folder did a R-Hop for my son's gun and also mine. My G36 gets an extra 50 feet of range and is much more accurate.
The last game I attended was- Op Iron Marches

I have been on the receiving end of a r-hop from superfrog's son. Really impressed. Since I am close I may try to see if Star would put on in my two m4s.

Yeah, the r-hop star put in has me getting about a 150 feet with my sub 300, short barreled M4.Iam_Hoss wrote:Star_Folder did a R-Hop for my son's gun and also mine. My G36 gets an extra 50 feet of range and is much more accurate.

Star, I will pay you not to put it on Ghost's guns.jsts ghost wrote:I have been on the receiving end of a r-hop from superfrog's son. Really impressed. Since I am close I may try to see if Star would put on in my two m4s.

You name a game, I've been to it.
If I've banned you, then you have more than likely deserved it.
If I deleted a post it didn't need to be there or I simply didn't like it.

Re: R-hop experiences
So is one better than the other: R-hop / Flat-hop?
Distance, accuracy, accuracy at long range, trajectory( flat/straight shots)?
I am going to do both of these mods for the first time, between now and the rest of the year.
I am in the process of doing a lot of testing on drop in buckings , Nubs, Nub Mods and inner barrels with KWA guns. I have 2-3 more buckings to buy and test as well as at least one, maybe two, Nub/Nubs to try.
I also have a project I started last year that I am in the process of finishing up
It will be August or September before I can try either Flat-hop or R-Hop.
Just trying to get all the info I can.

Re: R-hop experiences
Technically the R-hop (and variants) are better than the flat hop. Where the flat hop wins out is that you can do it in 10 minutes start to finish.

There's no kill switch on awesome!

Staying on Flat-hop for a moment here.SteevoLS wrote:Technically the R-hop (and variants) are better than the flat hop. Where the flat hop wins out is that you can do it in 10 minutes start to finish.
What realistically can be achieved with the Flat-hop?
Example: Guarder sp130 spring, 509 / 6.03tbb.
Assuming the Flat-hop was installed perfectly with the perfect nub, and everything else was theoretically perfect, what kind of accuracy at long range could one realistically expect?
Could one hit targets accurately at say 75 yards / 225 feet?
Accuracy defined as 8 out of ten shots with iron sights or scope sighted in at that distance.
Accuracy would not include pointing to the sky and then following the tape line to the target.
No Kentucky Windage. I am talking about straight / flat shots to 75 yards.
Would that be possible?
