To the people who think it is fine to show up late and hold up the game by an hour or two... Die in a fire.

So what holds up the whole game when someone comes late?

Running Paintball scenarios if someone was late we would send a ref to the crono area (or one would be there with a hand held crono at some point that the player was directed to go to then he was chronographed and put into the next insertion wave, or put into play and announced as an air drop or something else fitting.

Just curious why it would change cross sport?

That is typically how things are handled. This event was just a little bit out of the ordinary..

Steveo is right , this particular game was heavy with game scenario ,and major role playing that needed certain people there early or earlier than they were there. To get debriefed on objectives. But what is a great thing in the AOSC is when we make a mistake, we try to put policy's in place to avoid this from happing agian . Look under resolutions by governing council and see the new policy of game start times . This was put into effect not due to what happened at apple pie but of stuff in the past . Apple pie is just an example of why this policy was put into place.

There were two orange water coolers put out on the field for you guys that walked off somehow. One six gallon, one three gallon. If you have them or know where they are let me know. Otherwise there won't be any water on the field for the players at future games.
