whats a bleedout?

It's part of the medic system we use. If you haven't been medic'ed within 3 minutes of being shot, you "bleed-out." That is basically to simulate you not being fixed in time, and your body runs out of blood, you go back to respawn after the 3 minutes. In the event that you've been medic'ed twice before, you can't be medic'ed a 3rd time, and automatically start your 3 min bleed out. Once the 3 mins is up you go back to your respawn as normal.

*edit* After seeing the newly edited 1st post, I see we're using a SLIGHTLY different medic system. So we will have specific medics, and not everyone will be a medic as normal AOSC games?

I think for this game I will allow everyone to be a medic and try the new medic rule and see how it works.

thanks for the help, back in AZ we didn't use medics, or respawns for that matter. if you were dead, you were dead, end of story. the only way to get back in was a new game. ops were "interesting" to say the least.

I haven't run across this in the field and this wasn't the reason for the new medic rule. I saw it implemented in another game and just liked it. I just think it's better than the hands on healing. It gives the medic an action to complete.
