ARES quick change spring system
I have the ARES Mk46 and I want to change the spring, but I cannot figure it out. I googled it up but all that came up was reviews mentioning it, retailers mentioning in gun description and guides to the ARES G36 quick change spring. I looked at a G36 quick change spring system video and still could not figure it out. I'm not sure if I'm using the right sized Allen key or if the one I'm using is to short.

I believe you have to remove the stock, or at least push a pin so the stock can swivel away. If it's anything like their other guns, you should be able to remove the screw holding in the spring guide with a flat head screw driver besides just a hex head. Once that locking screw is gone, you'll see the back of the spring guide. The Allen key size you'll need is 5mm to remove the spring guide.
These instructions are based off of their M4s, Tavors, and Masadas, I don't have any experience with the Mk46 by Ares.

Okay, thanks Star_folder. I could get the stock out of the way, but couldn't get the screw in the spring guide out.
