Re: Quality Heavy bb's
Your observations are the same as mine, tan bbs are easier to see, and white are the easiest of all, but there are no white heavy weight bbs.
The bubbles I spoke of are internal, in the center of the bb. Bubbles cause the center of the bb geometrically to not be the center of the bb's mass. This causes off axis spinning and inconsistencies in shots, aka, inaccuracy.
It's hard to say about your hop up issues, or, I guess, your accuracy issues. Judging that for most of the time, your gun shoots spot on, it could simply be the bbs where bad. It could be a sever case of residue build up that caused it to happen, but that would be a more gradual change, and wouldn't happen all at once.

All of my observations concerning the .40g Madbull BBs totally concur with vanavery and Star_Folder, and I happily use them in all my high FPS setups. I have never used the .36g for anything, so I have nothing to base an opinion on. I've also used the King Arms ones, and as far as I can tell they performed just as well. I did not do any objective testing however.

i only trust madbull .40 in my echo 1 guns
Re: Quality Heavy bb's
Just put another thousand rounds of the MadBull .36's thru my gun today and I was very happy with the results. It was not the best day to target practice / gun test today as far as the wind goes.
The wind was steady all day long coming at me from my 2 O'clock position to my 8 O'clock position.
Strong swirling gusts as well. When the wind is coming at you and not just crossing you, it makes for an uphill day when shooting for long distance.
Despite these conditions, accuracy was great to 70 yards.
At 80 yards I as having issues with the wind to the point it just became a waste of expensive ammo to continue. I switched to the MadBull .40's to keep the day going but had no luck fighting the wind at that distance with this ammo either.
I did switch to a different scope that had a much larger eye relief than I have used before and this really helped in terms of following the bb flight path from the muzzle all the way to the target. I did not have to zoom out to follow the bb flight path. None of my scopes are anything special or expensive.
Shooting at long distance with a scope all day is another world in terms of what you see in the bb flight path compared to iron sights. I have seen bb's do things in flight that seem to defy the laws of physics.
Note:
It is really interesting how much wind effects the bb trajectory at distances 80 yards and out.
100 yards really is not that far when compared to shooting real steel in that the wind conditions I was up against today would have no effect on a live round (5.56) at 100 yards. Yet when shooting an airsoft rifle at distances out to 100 yards it may as well be a mile in terms of all the wind conditions that can occur. From the moment you pull the trigger until the moment the bb stops, It could travel through two and even three different wind directions. Add the "Rise" in the bb flight path past 60 yards and now you have a one more thing to deal with.

Re: Quality Heavy bb's
It's an interesting and complicated thing when you start considering the physics involved with bb flight, and how wind will effect it. Glad to hear it turned out well for you.
