I believe he only meant tape of the areas that are out of play from the nukes so people will know where those are...

I'm thinking that doublewolf was talking more about disputing where individual grid squares start or end. For example, alpha CO nukes A4. Player joe says "But I wasn't in A4. I was in A5." And there's no good way to define each and every square or prove joe was in A4 or A5.

Honesty is the rule. if Joe was in A4, then he (assuming this is a he, since his name is Joe) needs to be honest. i mean, its a nuke! there is no "bleed out" just go to the respawn point and respawn. it isn't that hard. also, there is another, conditional answer. if Joe is on Bravo, and is arguing about the rule, he is exposing himself, and is thus in my cross-hairs. No more Joe, because it doesn't matter if he died from a nuke or a sniper, dead is dead.

The truth is that joe would've most likely left A4 before he got the news about A4 having been blown up.

The only way I see it being enforced properly is with a physical marker like tape being thrown up, otherwise it simply won't work. Not only will it he impossible to inform everyone via comms, but even if they know a grid has been nuked they won't know where that grid is precisely.

Ping is probably talking about when they captured me around 3 AM or so, and I think they did cuff me then too. I was talking about the next morning when they woke me up and cuffed me at around 7 or 8 AM, the game had been officially called at 4:20 AM.

you guys do realize that if he said something was going to happen, he most likley thought it out first and had an idea of how to do it. it may work, or it may not. it's trial by error, and its how games get better. (for example, MED was never even heard of back in AZ. it was a trial here most likley and worked, and thus it stuck.)

Yeah, I don't see the nuke thing working unless it's physically marked off and enforced by an admin...

I think it can work. Im sure garret knows what hes doing. I was thinking that when a square is nuked, a few downwind grids should also be unusable as there would be legit fallout. If you were to travel through those fallout grids you should die from radiation poisoning.

Everything that will happen at OP24 has been thoroughly thought through so don't worry guys. Boundaries other than the creek will be marked with tape or string. As for nukes, they will be set by admin and all players who are killed by such will be told by admin... and yes there will be tape up for such grids that are effected. Simple rule is if you come to any type of caution tape don't cross it at any time. Besides the nukes will not be an easy thing to acquire.

While the forum being down for many people was distracting everyone, I, the insidious Bravo Commander Extraordinaire, have already stolen and stashed away 4 of your nukes! Mwa ha ha!

May I assume that the in-map lines are GPS-checked routes of the major roads and paths?
