trigger problems on ca m15a4

Post by stuckmojo » Sun Dec 06, 2009 3:38 pm

i bought a ca m15a4 for red and we are having problems with the trigger.  sometimes when you pull the trigger nothing happens and other times you have to pull really hard to make it shoot.  i was wondering what is causing this and how to fix it

It is most likely the connection problem. If you open up the gearbox, you will be able to see the trigger essembly. Within that trigger essembly, you'll be able to see these golden metal plates that meet together when you pull the trigger. If that connection isn't made, the gun won't shoot.

It will be a smart idea to also check the motor connection inside the pistol grip.

Long story short, try to check the connections, wires, etc.

Vesper is correct. I have had these problems before and it really is a simple fix. Check out mechbox.com and you can watch a video on how to take the gun apart.  The two small connections in the front of the trigger assembly are the problem. May be able to fix with a little cleaning and adjusting.
