But wasn't the rule at the time you needed 2 to move all the junk they had? And since they had 3 (if not more) then technically, yes they did lose the ability to move, and win, with the objective they had. Here is my 1 cent - I thought in all it was a great day for Airsoft. Yes , I was running a little late and yes it was my fault that the rules were not written down in stone / black and white . I will take full responsibility for this game not living up to everyones expectations . But Understand , I do this for free , and I have a full time job and full time family-wife,kids,ect. And various other things that require my Attention. Write a game scenario is easy, but writing how the game should flow ,and building and creating game props, can get a little hard and time consuming. I'm not a professional airsofter or a professional promoter like John Lu and AMerican MilSim. I am just a average person trying to make this game a little bit fun and interesting for those whoe come . Soooo........ Please forgive me If this game did not live up to everyones expectations. But If anyone would like to take a shot at running a game , please feel free. Contact me and I will do my best to make it happen.
Now , I had a very long and insiteful conversation with Bald eagle , After Lunch about the game scematics. And we both came to the conclusion , that you can not make evrybody happy all the time. and if you do , something is wrong . If I changed htings everytime someone called or complained about things, then the game would be really screwed up. Im sorry some people did not enjoy the game . Those who did thank you and I am Glad you came out and had a good time .
As far as people saying things were changed to help one side or the other, You must be confused or were playing another game . I never once changed anything, and only continued with the same scenaro after lunch. I told ALL the spies LONG Before this Game , at least a week prior, That to mix things up SO NO ONE ROLLED OVER THE OTHER, regardless if it was alpha or bravo. What they did was on their own accord and regardless of who had control of them . If Alpha , had them they would have done the same .But why complain and say it was my fault or any game admins fault if a ROLE Player chooses to play their character a certain way. They are not my puppetes, that I pull their strings to "make them do something". They do it on their own accord. But rather than say oh so so played this or that, Lets just blame the Admin. I never once did anything to help alpha gain an advantage as a admin. When I saw them not doing very well , due to lack of leadership , I stepped in as a player and helped, by giving support and leading as a player . At lunch I confered with some of the other reps, about resetting the game or changing it to some other type of style game play, and giving Bravo the win for the morning game. But then it was stated that Bravo had not completed the mission, and let them continue to try after lunch. I then choose to have only 2 spies/HVP"s . To cut back on any confusion and complaing. The game then continued just as the morning had , but the diffrence was Alpha now had leadership in Dom, who came up with the idea of taking the fight to bravo, albeit in a sneaky way. Since bravo had done most of the work in the morning.
This is exact scenario played out the week before at the Swamp in their game - Alpha had rolled through their objectives and had carried their objective to the final spot, but to only have bravo "take it "
from them at the last moment, then walk 5 ft to their base and hold it till end of the game and "win" . Not one single time did I hear a single player cry or whine about things being unfair or changing. When we went to the parking lot , nothing but positive talk . and guess what? Me and Watchdog were on bravo all day, and Alpha had their "tactical 10yr olds".
I personally could care less about the winning or losing or games being unfair, as long as I get to shoot people. Change the game, I still will find a way to complete the challenge because I enjoy the challenge of trying to do something nobody thinks I can or wants me to do. If everything was easy or handed to me then it would be meaningless and not worth the fight. but that is just me .Nothing was ever handed to me .
But Remember what this game was all about- DOUBLECROSS- double agent spies. AND I said people will get BUTT HURT at this game . Looks like I was being a little Profetical , but that is becuse there is too many chairsofters- people who like to sit back and whine and complain and do nothingto try and change the situations, but sit back and cause problems while everyone else does all the hard work.and when the good times come' they want to be a prt of the celebration. WHere I come from, they call those people CHEERLEADERS !!
Game play was great, never once did I hear any body shooting out , " Call YOUR Hits "!! .
Regardless of what anybody says -Bravo and Alpha won during the day, and did a great job.

Player hydration and safety trumps any game scenario, any day, anytime. And as Dom corrected, there were actually 8 spies on the field. The game did not come to a screeching halt when two of them walked to the parking lot.Felix wrote:But wasn't the rule at the time you needed 2 to move all the junk they had? Go read the AARs from games like BW that you were a RPC in.
They stated their reasons previously in this thread. No, they weren't needed, two were needed and they had 5 total.
BW I was not an RPC, I was a separate team. And you bet I did what I wanted. What I said earlier still applies, shoot first, ask questions, then medic. If you noticed, thats what BW became.
So what happened to those three that walked off, did they just come back to Alpha or did they just quit mid game, even though they WERE important to the main objective..?

Course, but this was BBs and things.. I have gone plenty of single hours without water so that an objective can be played..Mr. Marauder wrote:

As I slowly read through your post, I may edit this further. But I will say one thing. I was working under the impression that reps recieve part of the money from the game they host. Therefore, you are getting paid to put on a game meaning it has responsibilities.
As for the "butt Hurt" Chairsofter comment...
The AOSC lost a team due to this game, so it isn't being butt hurt, but genuine frustration at some things the player's don't particularly like.

...and once again, you needed TWO spies to move the items. They still had the two, and still moved the items. 5-3=2. 2=number needed. They were not needed for the main objective, as is evidenced by the fact that it was still done without them.Felix wrote:Even so, thats a rule change, and if not rules the objective.Dominum wrote:The numbers were cut and they had a different start point.Felix wrote:They did, as I was told. Yes, you were a RPC. BW was a third faction of RPCs, just like the group of spies was separate from the primary factions and operated under different rules. Trying to refute a comparison of the two with arbitrary symantics is ridiculous. Come on man, seriously.

[/align]Re: Mission: DOUBLE CROSS
Now for the record I did not shoot anyone from the team I was supporting as a spy. I was shot by bravo doing what I was asked to do by bravo. Not sure why but one of the guys decided to shot me as i was following the bravo point man. I was shot and then the other spy, Marauder, was also killed by bravo. Bravo quickly healed us and 30 seconds later we were back on for the WMD hunt. After that I made it clear I would do something against Bravo for it. This leads us to the supposed mass suicide. As I hear it was larger than Jones town much wailing and gnashing of teeth. In actuality I did not shot Marauder. Marauder shot me and then someone on bravo shot Marauder. Then after that the shot in the foot heard around the AOSC happened. This was done for the maltreatment of spies around the world and we heard they were marching us to Gitmo and something about a loin cloth. Now all joking aside I know Marauder, Dom, or Gerbilizer never turned on anyone they were supporting as a spy. Star Folder has made it clear Butnugget did not turn either. so I am not sure who all these spies were that kept turning on the faction that they were supporting. Now I obviously I can only speak for the things I directly saw or heard first hand that happened.
The clear theme from the AARs is that simpler games are the desire. So we need to deliver simpler games until the right balance is achieved. We all want to go to a game and have fun win or lose. The key is having fun.
As always enjoyed the field. SQA is a great field.

The only reason you haven't been asked to run a scenario again recently is because of the multiple times you have flipped out and screamed obscenities at people in the middle of games for one reason or another, among other issues.

Good point.
So should we stop people from running games who make AARs as long as this that have just as many hard feelings?

When I heard the shots, and turned around, and all you guys were dead, someone told me that you and Marauder had shot each other, and then Gerb punched a hole in his foot. In my mind, you guys were rebelling against us. Shooting yourselves so that you could get away, and go do something else. To be honest, had I known you guys just needed water, and to refill/ammo. I wouldn't have been nearly as annoyed as I was (granted, I really wasn't that annoyed). Also, wanting to do that after you and bishop got shot makes sense as well. And I can't remember why you two were shot in the first place, perhaps just a trigger happy bravo player.
