I paid $10 for mine several years ago, coupled with some Dr. Schols inserts they are fantastic. They're from a thrift store in Cola, prob came off a guy in basic at Ft. Jackson.

ugg I knew someone was gonna post about surplus stores lol, I should have clarified. Cheaply MADE boots are garbage. Just because they are cheap monetary wise does not always equal cheaply made as example above

That's what I was gonna say. 10 buck boots are pieces of crap.I would rather buy 150 dollar Boots that I know will last. And I don't wear boots,so that's not a problem.

$10 boots from surplus stores CAN be good, you just have to hand pick them. I have a pair of Danner boots and I love them, however they are a little expensive for a few people taste.

Dude, the young players are the future of the AOSC. It would be pretty stupid for us to hate on you guys.

Eye pro, or in your case full face protection is number 1. Don't skimp there. Mesh is for sure the way to go for full face because of fog issues. There are a few rules for camouflage as far as mixing , but civilian loadouts are accepted. Spend your cash on eye pro, then a competitive gun. Everything else is like buying fancy rims for a car. They may look good, but are not needed to drive it.
