CBQ field limits apply, therefore ALL airsoft guns (pistols, shottys, AEGs, bolt actions, ad infinitum) will be required to chrono at or under 340 FPS with a .20g BB, no exceptions. This translates to approximately 305 FPS with a .25g. Using heavier BBs to pass chrono is cheating and will result in immediate ejection from the field without refund, as well as possible further action. Full face protection of some form is required, as well as full seal goggles.
You can not by pass the system using heavier bbs if you make it to where people bring an empty mag to chrono and the field loads them with their own .20s.

I wholeheartedly agree, and have been advising this for some time. We may do it at this game, and as soon as we get things in more order around here I will attempt to pass a motion amending the rules stating that all AOSC games must be chronoed and tagged with provided .20s to guarantee compliance.

Where can a waiver be found to be printed for those who need to have it signed by a parent that cannot be there?

Myself and a friend are planning on coming.  We will both have to rent guns.  Gun rentals are $15 each correct?

Yes, and you will need $15 for the field fee.

So I have...

-300 FPS AEG (w/all I need)
-0.20g BBs
-Contractor loadout
-Full seal goggles with face mask
-mouth guard
-$15
-lunch

I think all I am missing is a waiver... correct? Are there going to be waivers on site for those over 18 years old?

Scott, do you realize that you don't have to wear a mouth guard if you have a mask on?

Yeah, I understand that, but I'm bringing both. I have those TM fan goggles with the mask attachment... and I have Arena goggles without the mask part... so I just want to bring both to see what I want to wear...

No problem in being over-safety-ed-out

Thanks.  I saw the rental info earlier before I posted.  I was just making sure the rental is still $15, because on the site it says a day of play is $12 but this event is $15.  I just wanted to make absolutely sure.

Wellford has their own rules about FPS... I believe it was a point of contention between them and the SCAA at one time or another.  It's also one of the reasons I've been hesitant about going in the past... I know that the AK is a wee bit too powerful for CQB.

In the end, it's all in the name of safety.  If you've got $15 to drop for a rental gun, I'm sure that the guns they rent out will fire at or below the FPS they're requiring.
