Deadrag question
Deadrag question
Ive really been contemplating using a brightly colored hat as a deadrag. I mean, it doesn't fall off easily, and it's fairly easy to see. Would this be allowed?

Re: Deadrag question
As long as your head has a perimeter of over 32 inches, you should be fine. Haha.A dead rag must have a minimum perimeter of 32 inches, and a bright, neon color that does not match any part of your gear.
I've seen people do it before, and I've also seen people wear brightly colored hats the whole time they were playing (which probably isn't allowed). It's probably allowed, but might cause some confusion because some people don't have common sense. I was using a yellow dead rag and was shot repeatedly because "it wasn't red." You might be better off getting a red rag and sewing some Velcro on it so that you can stick it to yourself.

Re: Deadrag question
While it doesn't follow the 32 inches rule, it's technically not a rag. But, it is allowed for the few that use it because they usually do the job quite well.
Some decide to wear them the whole time, and just have a second hat on top of them. If you do this, just be sure that you have the orange/yellow had covered up.
Even with red dead rags, people get shot. The only rule is that they need to be a bright color/easily seen. Just explain that you are already hit, and don't get upset about it.

A beanie. I don't normally wear hats much anymore so a beanie would be perfect.

Re: Deadrag question
If it is large and very bright, that would work. However, some people may still shoot you. Albeit, a beany ought to cover the head very similarly to a dead rag, so I doubt there'll be many problems with it. Go ahead.
