Re: Bolt Action Build Off!
Meh. Is it really that important? Laylax am expensive.
Re: Bolt Action Build Off!
I have no experience with that cylinder, so I can't say for sure, but that is a general rule of thumb.

Just finished the tdc mod. Only a couple more things left to do on the list! Should be up and playing with it at RR, would post pics but not exactly sure how, (never needed to before)

I will meet ya there! Just tested it and installed my laylax zero trig and piston and sp170. This thing is nuts! Tdc mod does wonders.

Re: Bolt Action Build Off!
Tried to do the 45 degree setup for the build. But due to the angle that the pisotn was being put in, it made the bolt push hard to do, so going for a 90 degree piston build....
How is everyone else doing?

Well, I've got a huge air break on mine right now. And in an effort to get more power from the spring, I've added spring spacers. However, I have too many, and it makes it difficult to rack the bolt. So... I think the solution is to get a bigger spring.

Re: Bolt Action Build Off!
Hey all, I won't be able to make it to a game until December at this point, because I am out of town for work/vacations almost every single weekend until then.
Obviously it was no one's intention for this to drag on this long, but I just wanted to state where I am in terms of scheduling an actual build off competition day. Certainly, a game in the Columbia would be the best location for holding the event, so we have even drive times for people in the lowcountry and upstate.
Lets get some feedback on this and pick a date for the actual event.

Re: Bolt Action Build Off!
I need a new bucking, and some paint.
Also, looks like we'll be having the actual competition on Dec 14th.
