Re: DSG Build
Wow it's been awhile. Ok, so the parts came in, now I'm waiting on clandistine to restock the SHS blue. Ben has the threading adapter I need, so I'm gonna wait for that. Also gonna pick up a piston head whenever that happens. So far the parts look amazing. Gearbox looks like a Christmas tree with all the different colors. Green CH, red nozzle, red contacts, blue tappet, yellow cylinder, etc. Sadly I won't have this don't by the 23 l.
. Oh well

Re: DSG Build
Got the thing built modded, and all that jazz
To preface this video, the motor cage and short motor are due to a project I'm doing with the gearbox, and I can't very well walk into school with an Mp5k now can I? :p

It was part of the subject of my year long senior project. Constructing MOSFETS was the other part of it.Romba wrote:Curious as to how it ties in with a school project..... And what excuse I need to do the same!

Ah, cool. I see you are in Greenville, do you go to one of the Greenville tech charter schools? At my school (brashier) we have a huge senior project too.TheInfidel23 wrote:It was part of the subject of my year long senior project. Re: DSG Build
Long overdue update.
The 'box is done, tuned well, and performing as desired. I just finished retuning it for a long type motor, and dropped it into the body. The crappy arm I used burnt out fairly quickly. Next on the list is acquiring a high TPA arm and actually testing feeding then.
