Shaddup Marshall, we know he is talking AEGs, not your PTW boxes that cost as much as a whole AEG.

Hence why I mentioned heading over to Airsoft mechanics to read up on AEG teching.

There have been a lot of games since the last fatality. Roses are red, violets are blue, so is your car at 102

I was anxious the first time I opened a gearbox, especially with it being my only gun at the time. There's so much worry about breaking something or doing it wrong. But as long as you're not 2 quarters short of a dollar in the head, it shouldn't be hard with resources like youtube, but it will be time consuming (my fastest time in and out of a gearbox is 40 minutes, first time was 2+ hours). Just take your time with it, and lay your parts out organized in front of you, and you'll realize it's pretty easy.

There used to be a site mechbox.com that was great with tech videos, but I think it is gone now..... Dom has a few video on youtube showing proper shimming and such.

Ah, get those bushings replaced then! The stock ones are surprisingly strong, and last under the stock spring, but if you want to start upgrading your gun, that's a good start.
