Awesome Airsoft @ Airfarm Day

Post by mives » Mon Jun 16, 2014 10:29 pm

Location: Airfarm
Address: 470 Halfacre Rd. Newberry, SC
Date: Saturday, July 5th
Price: $15

Itinerary:

-Chrono and Registration starting at 8:30
-Safety brief at 10:00
-Airsoft from 10am - until (most likely 5pm, but we will stay later if we have players to play)

Games!

We will begin with some force on force attack and defend scenarios. If you've ever played kick-the-can as a child, get excited. If you haven't... be prepared to get excited.

After a lunch break, we will play a game of Chaos. Essentially the more kick-arse version of hunger games. And everyone starts with weapons! B/c what good is fighting without weapons? We will break into small groups and start each group off at a different location. As you kill enemy players, you can medic them and they become part of your team. Biggest team/last team standing wins.

We will end the day with some mock scenario situations. Take that as you want... details during the brief.

-Radio channel 1 is for admin, call me baby on channel 1 if you have any problems or questions at any time.

-Bring lots of water... This is an airsoft game in JULY! There will be many breaks throughout the day and there will be extra water on site.

-Camo restrictions will be lifted for this game. Teams will have to rely on verbal communication and IFF (Identify Friend or Foe) to determine who is on what team. Wear what you want! If that includes a Hawaiian T-shirt, more power to ya!

-Weather? What's weather? We play whether there's weather or not!

MEDIC RULES
If you have an old white t-shirt that you can cut up, bring white t-shirt material cut into at least 1.5" by 18" strips (as many as you can).
Everyone will carry up to two white cloth "bandages" on their person. Anyone can come up to a wounded player, take out the wounded player's "bandage", tie this bandage to the wounded players upper arm, and get that player back into the fight.

For Chaos, everyone is a medic, 30 second touch.

Waiver:
If you are UNDER 18 years of age and will not have a parent or legal guardian with you at registration to sign, have them sign one now and bring it with you:

Weather's clear, high of 91.

I cannot stress how important it is to hydrate with straight water for several days before an airsoft match.

Make sure to bring extra water with you. Water coolers and bottled water will be on site, but you need to have some way to carry water with you at all times!

Looking forward to a fun day of airsoft, see you guys on the field.

I do believe we will also have some of them electrolytes brewed up in a 3 gallon bucket. Electrolytes are good to drink on the field to replace that sweet sweat.
