If you plan on playing the night game, be sure bring glow sticks, chem lights, or some other colorful light emitting doodad to act as your dead rag. Your normal cloth dead rag won't be visible at night, and you may get shot way more than you would like.
Also who plans on camping out Friday night before the game? I want to set camp since I'm not a morning person and am always in a rush to get to games on time in the morning. I just don't want to be the only one there, I'm scared of the dark.
PS. I clicked edit post but it made a new post instead... I swear really

Are small, controlled camp fires allowed?
Re: The AOSC 5th Anniversary Game Sept 27-28th @ Redfox
They do sell some airsoft stuff, but like any field it will not be the same as a store. They sell paint for paintball guns, compressed air but they do NOT sell C02, and BB's if im not mistaken.Ghost delta squad wrote:Is there a store at red fox? and can I play with out a parent I am 12 and I have played aosc games before without a parent. thx
You will be fine to play as long as your parent is there and signs the release waiver. You're parent can NOT jsut drop you off and leave though; they have to stay for as long as you're there.
No campfires are permitted, but they do allow grills.Chippy wrote:Are small, controlled camp fires allowed?

From my experiences, I know that a parent has to be in sight of you at all times until you are 15 unless an admin allows you to play on your own.

Ok im 17 but my parent(s) wont/cant attend and ive pre registered i hope that it wont be a problem i know that dom and marauder can vouch for me (also ive enlisted in the army as an 89d so if that doesnt say anything about maturity or what not then im not sure what will)
Re: The AOSC 5th Anniversary Game Sept 27-28th @ Redfox
Just print the waiver from the redfox website and you can probably find somebody who will sign for you or the admins could probably make an exception.Coopraider wrote:Ok im 17 but my parent(s) wont/cant attend and ive pre registered i hope that it wont be a problem i know that dom and marauder can vouch for me (also ive enlisted in the army as an 89d so if that doesnt say anything about maturity or what not then im not sure what will)

Yea I would still print the paper off just to be safe. They arent worried about you being immature or stupid, they are worried that if you get hurt and don't have a waiver that they are liable for you and your injuries. Thats why people sign the waiver. It keeps them from getting sued if someone under 18 gets hurt.Coopraider wrote:Ok im 17 but my parent(s) wont/cant attend and ive pre registered i hope that it wont be a problem i know that dom and marauder can vouch for me (also ive enlisted in the army as an 89d so if that doesnt say anything about maturity or what not then im not sure what will)

Can you rephrase that? It sounds like you're saying campfires are not allowed and grills are, but at the same time your use of the word permitted is a bit confusing.Seeker wrote:They do sell some airsoft stuff, but like any field it will not be the same as a store. you can cook there with a quick grill, but you can not light the ground on fire. Tada.

I did and its signed so no worries

Campfires are NOT allowed. Grills are. So as Felix said, don't light the ground on fire and you're solid. You might be able to get away with having a small fire contained in a grill but not like a bonfire or anything like that.Chippy wrote: Can you rephrase that? Sweet man. Have fun and be safe.Coopraider wrote:I did and its signed so no worries

Bring a portable fire pit. That may work. Just have a grilling apparatus nearby and you're good.
