Was that when I was down the hill behind those logs/trees near the bottom of the slope in the first game? I was wondering how in the heck I was shot from up the hill to my left.

I am so sorry. All I see is this guy rushing up the hill and then I was like... Oh snap... lol.
Re: Redfox March 2nd
Oh, if I was rushing up the hill that was when we were pulling back to give them a chance. No harm done, just gave me a breather lol.

You nailed it.2nd Ranger wrote:I will give you the fact that yes, Alpha does usually do pretty good objective wise but bravo almost always dominates kill wise. But at the end of the day it does not matter as long as everybody had fun since it is after all just a game.
edit--------
Just saying from my personal experiences with the SCAA which were bountiful there were generally even numbers in the sense that alpha had more players but bravo was more skilled. Not unlike today. This is just a general statement and not aimed any anyone in particular, since alpha camo is usually cheaper and there for more new players have it.
Generally, as you said, multicam is far more expensive than your traditional woodland BDU's. Those individuals willing to pay the extra for BDU's, in my experience, don't skimp when it comes to their gun either. It's rather the norm to see 20+bps 400+fps builds floating around. Not quite so frequent on the alpha side.
Far more new, inexperienced, players don alpha colors and come out with bone stock entry level AEG's. There is nothing wrong with that, and honestly, their continued interest in the sport is the life's blood behind the AOSC. And I have to give props to Acts Airsoft, I still think that's a cool ministry (nice video btw!).
We intentionally rolled Alpha noting that Bravo seemed to have more tech knowledge and "financial backing" behind their gear. Playing against Bravo generally provides quite an fun challenge. Most importantly, you're right. At the end of the day it's about having a good time.
As everything else, it's hard to make blanket assumptions, as the player base changes when you switch regions in SC and not all the same faces come out to each event. But the ones we've been to my assumptions are reasonably accurate.
Alas, I have to make a confession. The three of us in my signature picture drove to Redfox, stood in the snow for 45 minutes, and decided we didn't want to be cold and wet for the majority of the day. So we packed up and headed out... I guess someone smack me with a wet noodle next time you see us...
Partially regretting leaving, looks like you guys still made a great day of it.

Re: Redfox March 2nd
One major issue was the constant switching of people. Not only did we have to figure out the difference between all black and black with blue jeans, but we had to try and figure out the constant switching of sides every other round. There were several times we'd say, "Which side are ___ on this round?" And either get shot because we were unsure or end of shooting them and turn out they are friendlies. There HAS to be a better way.

There is a better way, dress for one faction or the other like you're told to. (Well, not necessarily you Romba, but the people that mix and match everything under the sun)
