*Moved* 600FPS M4

I walked into there store and asked them what parts would i need to make an m4 shoot 600 fps. They said it was impossible. One of the workers there didnt even know they had a website. Anyway, they gave me exactly what I ordered from there website and it only took 2 days to get here.

If he said it was impossible, he was mistaken, however he likely meant something along the lines of "it's not reccomended". If you REALLY want to, the answer is that you need a lot of money. PM me if you have several hundred dollars for parts and I can make it shoot 600FPS, or at least very close to it.

Yea...I wasnt actually going to upgrade my m4 to do that (because I do not own one ) I just wanted to learn how.

That will get you over 500FPS, but not close to 600FPS. To do that you'd want the following additional parts:

-M170 spring (variable pitch highly preferable)
-Teflon cylinder
-Oring airnozzle (I say that because I am not sure if this drop in comes with one or not)

Also, though I have heard good things from a few people about Matrix's M150 drop ins, I see the following problems with this one:

-Without a Mosfet your contacts will fry after a while due to the amount of electricity being drawn for such a hard spring
-The gears aren't helical, and under such duress should fail in the near future
-Due to the price, you can assume it was poorly assembled, so that will almost certainly need to be remedied
-The shell is weak, so another possible point of failure
-I'll bet $10 that piston head will crack within the first few mags

That motor may pull an M160, and maybe even an M170, but not without being under a lot of strain and being very loud. You should go with a Systema Magnum instead. A Systema drop in M170 would remedy the afforementioned issues. Bear in mind however, that though that would get you up around 600 FPS, if you are still using a stock barrel, hopup chamber, bucking, and nub you will not have good accuracy for the 100ft+ engagement you would have, so you would want to invest more money to make it accurate as well. Oh, and you'd need a good battery too.

u want 600 fps??? send it to nashville airsoft, they specialize in hi rof/fps...since they host 2 unlimited fps games a year, ask diesel about that....

Like I said, I dont own a m4, only a CA MP5A4 that GrimWulf sold me (wich broke after the first match). Sorry if im sounding like an a**.

As far as the MP5, have you talked to GrimWulf about it? He is a stand up guy and I'm sure that he will help you out if you had just bought it.
