Well, I felt pretty BA when I was shoved into the back of the land rover when we were being rescued.

Re: OP: Second Sun
Were you there?
Awesome game. Put some names to faces(Diesel, Undead, Felix, Star_Folder, Steevo's AKM, etc.) Very cool field, but right now I feel BEAT. Bravo seemed to steamroll us, but the points will tell. There were some issues on both sides with hit calling, some really bad cursing and swearing and the lack of a lunch break was rough.
Also ran a few thousand rounds through my new M14, which worked admirably except for one jam. Also, shot my first two GBBs(Undead's PPK and some dude in Aussie camo's WE 1911(which will be one of my upcoming purchases).
Hopefully I'll see you in people Georgia!

Wish I had come but sadly I was sick and it was going to be raining. By the way did it rain?

It started raining not too long after everyone cleared the field.

Hey Chippy, were you Alpha or Bravo?
I was on alpha. Saw the awesomest thing ever.
A black guy on Bravo was on the cliff over looking the main road from the parking lot. A couple of Alpha pop up behind him and his teammates, and I think they killed hid teammated(I was pretty for away). Well, this guy grabs a tree root, swings off of the cliff and starts shooting over while dangling from one arm.

After my friends and I were rescued, we played as bravo.
You may or may not have seen me with my friend walking about with my camera right as bravo planted the nuke.
That sounds pretty insane, man.

Re: OP: Second Sun
No hit calling was bad on Alpha team. My squad engaged several small squads and singles through out the day and we could see the BBs bouncing off of them but no one was calling hit. At one point it seemed like the only way to get a hit that was called was to land a BB on someones head or throat.
I took a BB to the face which drew blood, one to the forehead and several to the hands. Bravo (my team) was spot on with objective planning. We had great communication with our CO and squad leaders. I did feel that there was a bit too much cursing but that comes with a game filled with adults. The young kids playing around on the coms every few minutes got annoying but again it comes with the territory.
One thing I really liked about the game was everyone on Bravo worked together. Not once did I see anyone break off from a given task to do their own thing. I fought along side some great guys today and while I can not remember everyone's name I would like to say it is an honor to play with such dedicated individuals such as LJ, Ranger, and the guy who was beside me all day long whos name I can not remember.
The score at noon was something like 1000 to 300 with Bravo in the lead. By the end of the day I am sure the lead was much higher than that. We kept taking every spawn they would take, we nuked their base, captured the nuke, and got all the hostages.
This was my first real structured Airsoft game and all in all I would call it an outstanding success. I learned so much today and am fully hooked!

In reference to the hit calling and language issues:
We (the admins) were aware of the issues. Plenty of people came up to us at various points during the day to complain. The problem is this: If you come up to me and say "Those guys aren't calling their hits!" but then can't actually tell me anything other than "they're the guys on that ridge", I can't do anything. The same applies to the language. "Those guys over there are cussing a lot!" doesn't help me much if I'm trying to identify a single person or group.

There's no kill switch on awesome!
Re: OP: Second Sun
I fully understand and am not complaining, just discussing my thoughts and observations on the game. The hit calling did not bother me much because we were still kicking their butt regardless of them calling hits or not.
Re: OP: Second Sun
There were very few problematic players out there. One player was pointed out for wearing aviator sunglasses as an eye protection, and he responded to Stuckmojo and me with an attitude. Next time this happens, I will not tolerate it. Follow AOSC rules, and admins' words are final.
Anyway, there were definitely some great firefights going on throughout the day. I had a blast observing people trying to push up the hills (cliffs). There were many players who face planted into the ground as well.
All in all, it was pretty good day. Us admin staff tried to make this a good day for everybody without any drama.

i want to say i was impressed with the game dynamics and want to say good job to felix and ajax for doing such a good job. i knew felix would come up with a good game concept. i only played for about 45 minutes i spent most of the day walking around and watching some new teams to the aosc. i will say i saw alot of hit calling issues on both sides but it happens in airsoft games that is the one draw back to airsoft. the weather was great and i really enjoyed watching the game from a spectator point of view. again good job ajax

Also, I would like to congratulate the admins. They all did a great job, except for when Vesper jumped down into a group of us Alpha wearing Multicam and I almost had a heart attack

Re: OP: Second Sun
Let me say, first, THANKS to everyone that came out. This was the first game run by Ajax, and we learned some thing.
A couple quick notes since I just got home and want to sleep.
Hit calling--This is a game of HONOR. It will only be as good as the players. There was hit calling issues on both sides, PERIOD. Bravo and Alpha. Don't complain, help us instead. Call your hits, if you buddy besides you gets hit and don't call it, then call him out. Also, remember, just cause you "think" you are hitting him, doesn't mean you are. ie, shooting up at people on a ride from a low spot, you are not gonna have your normal range.
Cussing. This will be the last game I hear this. If I hear as much as I heard today, you will go to your respawn that is the longest walk for you. and time, you will leave the field. This is a family sport and the kids on the field have the right to play without hearing this.
I will post more tomorrow.
