I was just wondering if its possible to use a voltmeter to test aeg battery levels?

Yes and No..
Yes you can use a digital multimeter, DMM, to check the voltage of a battery. You can check the wiring for voltage drop at the motor, and Amps being pulled (not recommended unless you have a very good DMM) from the motor.
No you can not verifiy if you have a bad cell in your battery pack. The only way to do that is break your battery pack or have a Midtronic battery tester.

A DMM is a good tool to test and verify your electrical side of your airsoft gun.
